Job Position: Art Teacher Location: Tower Hamlets Salary: £150 - £240 per day Start Date: November 2024 Contract Type: Full Time Working Hours: Tues, Wed, Thursday (3 days per week) Are you a passionate Art Teacher looking to inspire creativity in young minds? A comprehensive secondary girls’ school in Tower Hamlets is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Teacher (Maternity Cover)to join their vibrant team in November 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on students' artistic development in a supportive and dynamic school environment. Art Teacher Responsibilities: Plan and deliver exciting and creative KS3 art lessons that inspire students of all abilities. Develop students' skills in various art techniques, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Organise and display student artwork for school exhibitions and events. Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the art department's success. Maintain high standards of behaviour and safety in the classroom. Art Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching art at the secondary level, though ECTs are welcome to apply. A passion for art and the ability to inspire students with your creativity. Strong organisational and classroom management skills. A commitment to student well-being and achievement.
