Sawmill Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to join a local Sawmill and be part of a strong team looking to grow over the next year.

Job Responsibilities

• This will be a hands on role very shop floor based leading the Production facility
• Have a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
• Ensure all products are produced effectively and efficiently as well as maintaining quality standards.
• Be accountable for the finished product
• Attend daily Production meetings where targets are made clear
• Carry out inductions for new starters

About you:

• Have a good understanding of health and safety requirements
• Possess good team leading skills with a proven track record
• Good communicator
• A strong personality and have managed people before.
• If you are from a factory or warehouse background and want to work in a different environment this could be a good change for you

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 06.30 to 16.30 Monday to Thursday
• 06.30 to 12.30 Friday
• 44 hours per week plus overtime available from time to time
