What makes the perfect Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant? A proven track record of working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism and EHCPs Extensive experience supporting autistic children in an educational setting (essential) A compassionate, patient, and adaptable nature, with excellent communication skills The ability to work autonomously and confidently manage one-on-one and group learning sessions Training in SEN support highly preferred What would a day in the life of an Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant look like?
