Key Responsibilities


  • Design & Development: Create solutions to support data acquisition and control of new educational products. This includes PCB design, firmware development, and integration with controllers, instrumentation, and drives.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce and maintain technical documentation, including updates to drawings, bills of materials, and manufacturing files.
  • Support Manufacturing: Provide technical support for on-site manufacturing and testing to quickly resolve issues and ensure production stays on track to meet customer delivery deadlines.


What We're Looking For


Essential Qualifications


  • Degree in Electronics or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • 5+ years of commercial electronic design experience, covering both analogue and digital systems.
  • Expertise in interfacing with instrumentation, signal conditioning and processing, and microcontroller integration.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB design.
  • Understanding of PCB assembly and manufacturing processes.
  • Hands-on experience in building, testing, and debugging prototypes.
  • Experience with PIC microcontrollers and SoC devices.
  • Knowledge and experience in C programming.


Desirable Skills


  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems for bill of materials control.
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 / IPC standards and design for EMC.
  • Understanding of Low Voltage and EMC directives (CE Marking).
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) techniques.
  • Proficiency in EDA software, particularly Pulsonix (preferred) and OrCAD.
  • Programming skills in C++, C#.
