SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a welcoming community primary school in Walthamstow, Waltham Forest, seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, providing 1-1 support to several children in the Reception class who have additional learning needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1-1 support to children with a range of additional needs, helping them to thrive in the classroom. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning plans. Support the emotional and social development of the children, ensuring they feel safe and valued within the school environment. What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with children with additional needs, particularly in an early years setting. A patient, nurturing approach with excellent communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative when required.
