We are assisting a leading contractor specializing in a variety of sectors in their search for a skilled and qualified Site Manager with extensive experience in high-pressure gas steel pipeline projects. With a strong commitment to safety, quality, and innovation, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations ensuring project goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Oversee day-to-day operations on-site, managing all aspects of gas steel pipeline installation, including deep excavations, welding, and testing.

Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Act as the Temporary Works Supervisor, ensuring that all temporary works are installed and maintained safely and in compliance with relevant standards.

Ensure that all site activities adhere to health and safety regulations by conducting regular safety briefings and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

Work closely, supervise, and support the site team, including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring clear communication & efficient workflow.

Coordinate with clients, particularly with the relevant parties, including project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met and that they are kept informed of project progress.

Attend site meetings and provide updates on project status, risks, and issues.

Oversee the testing of pipelines to ensure they meet the required standards, and all procedures are followed correctly and safely.

Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material usage, and any changes to the project scope.

Significant years of experience in site management roles within construction/engineering.

Experience with high-pressure gas systems, steel welding, stopple, & pipeline testing are advantageous.

Previous experience as a contractor or direct employee with Cadent is highly desirable.

Relevant tickets/ qualifications such as First Aid, Fire Marshal, Deep excavation & SMSTS are beneficial.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
