Our client is a leading global packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to expansion plans and new production lines being installed, they are looking for an Extrusion Setter to join their growing team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Setting, operating and monitoring one of the companies main extruder machines
- Completing quality checks on the machines and materials
- Make sure the extrusion machine is running efficiently to maxmise output and reduce downtime
- Take responsibility for own workload, thinking on your own feet, booking in rolls onto the company stock systems, labelling products correctly
- Basic maintenance checks, including roller and die cleaning
- Quality sampling of finished sheet roll - looking at gauge, clarity and slip reports
To be considered for this position you will come from a Machine minder, Plant Operator, Extrusion setter/ machinist type posiition previously and have a driving licence and vehicle.
