HV Design Manager - Birmingham

HV Design Manager opportunity within the Transmission & Distribution sector, based in Birmingham!

LOCATION: Hybrid but must be available for 2-3 days a week to attend Birmingham office

START DATE: September 2024

The right candidate will need to have the following:

- Transmission and Distribution experience around substation design, extension of existing substations and substation related projects

- Process driven and able to push a programme forward

- Ideally someone from an idustry with a regulated background, i.e. rail candidates who can showcase transferable skills would be considered

- A commitment to the project and willingness to see things through

- Must be able to manage change and lead design function

- National Grid experience would be of significant benefit, especially with the following National Grid procedures; TP106, TP131, TP135, TP137, TP141, TP153, TP163, TP182, TP184, TP188, TP189, TP191, TP211, TP215, and TP241.

RATE: £450-£550 per day, outside IR35!
