Assistant Accountant

Role: Assistant Accountant Location: Sheffield - Hybrid working Duration: Permanent Rate: £29k to £33k Sector: Public Sector Sellick Partnership are looking to appoint to a Finance Accounting Lead for our Public Sector client in Sheffield. Purpose of the Job - Assistant Accountant: To support the Accountancy Manager in proactively contributing towards the efficient and effective delivery of the organisations strategic objectives Preparation and monitoring of Cashflows and Treasury Management Accounting for Fixed Assets and Capital spend Producing working papers to support the monthly financial reporting and statutory accounts Key Responsibilities - Finance Accounting Lead Support drafting cash flow forecasts Maintain fixed assets and capital accounting records Provide effective monitoring of capital, treasury management and financial accounting Support on Treasury Management To monitor capital spend Assist with year-end procedures To prepare statutory returns Person Specification- Assistant Accountant: AAT Qualified A good understanding of accounting Benefits - Assistant Accountant Flexible working pattern Generous holiday allowance Excellent Pension scheme We encourage interested candidates to apply immediately for this fantastic Assistant Accountant Opportunity.
