With a competitive coverage of Trading Houses, Producers, Majors, Utilities, Merchants, Hedge Funds, Investment Banks and Brokerages; Redstone Commodity Search can confidently offer you an edge in today’s volatile market.We are currently working with a commodity trading house who recently started an XVA desk and are looking to hire an XVA Trader to join the team in London, assisting with the build out and development of the desk.Key Responsibilities / TasksProvide pricing and trade support to the XVA desk, as well as XVA pricing for the commodity trading desk, pre-trade (Energy, Oil & Metals).Assist with the initial build out of tools and infrastructure for the desk (development into a trading position).Pricing of upfront charges on trade activity for multiple XVAs to Marketing and provide explanation of the drivers.Support the marking of credit curves, volatility surfaces and other calibration parameters in line with market observables and agreed policies.Support risk management across credit, commodities, rates and FX.Role reports to Executive Director, XVA Trading.Key Qualifications / Experience 2-7 years of experience in a trading, risk or credit function within XVA / CPM team.Strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA; strong python knowledge is desirable.Excellent attention to detail and hight level of competency in a quantitative field.Fundamental understanding of derivatives, commodity specific experience is advantageous.Ability to adapt, problem solve and multitask in a hight paced environment.Located in the UK with the right to work.
