Bid Writer - Sidcup - Property Services Contractor - Permament £40,000

Bid Writer required to work with medium sized property and construction company in Sidcup

Position Overview

The role involves producing both written and visual content to support securing contracts. This includes overseeing all aspects of bid and proposal preparation to a high standard of success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage multiple selection questionnaires and tender submissions throughout the various stages of the procurement process.
  • Analyse and review all client-related documents pertaining to the bid.
  • Conduct research and write supporting information for bids.
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of a repository of responses.
  • Review bid submissions to ensure accuracy and quality.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • A-level or equivalent in English, with strong grades.
  • Experience in bid writing and tender processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable Experience
  • Previous experience working with a main contractor.
  • Familiarity with Social Housing and Local Authority clients.
Additional Details
  • Salary: £40,000 per annum.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break. This role is solely office-based.
  • Holiday entitlement: 21 days per year, plus bank holidays.
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
  • A probationary period of six months applies.
