About the role: We are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis. This role involves working with children who need additional support, particularly through boosters and interventions, to help them reach their academic goals. The ideal candidate will support children with special educational needs (SEN), tailoring learning activities to meet individual needs and ensuring that no child is left behind. You’ll work closely with class teachers to provide a caring and supportive environment, contributing to the development of pupils’ confidence, independence, and love of learning. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young children and enjoys working in a dynamic and rewarding school setting. Application Requirements: • Has experience working with children in Key Stage 2 or a similar age group. • Is experienced or willing to work with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). • Is proactive, patient, and enthusiastic about education. • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support and motivate children. • Is a team player who can collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 with tailored booster sessions and interventions. • Assisting in the delivery of the curriculum and adapting activities to suit individual needs. • Providing targeted support for children with SEN, helping them engage fully in lessons. • Offering one-on-one or small group support to help children achieve their learning goals. • Working alongside teachers to monitor and assess the progress of pupils, ensuring they reach their full potential.
