FM Estimator Location: South of England, remote, home-based with some travel Salary: £60,991.83 We are seeking an experienced FM Estimator to join our team at GFSL Join a team that is more than just a group of colleagues - we work Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, working together to create a safe and nurturing environment. As FM Estimator in our Commercial and Supply Chain team you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Payroll, People, Projects, to Finance, and others, who are all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all. The FM Estimator is a new role in GFSL within our Finance and Commercial directorate to manage change into business as usual, working proactively across teams to price the maintenance of new assets and changes to assets and services. The role is key to effective change management and therefore to the safe and effective operation of prisons. This role requires a high level of technical expertise combined with organisational skills and the ability to influence senior colleagues in GFSL and in the Ministry of Justice. We are a Ministry of Justice business who provide critical and time-bound services to HMPPS, and are looking for a FM Estimator with: - FM Industry Experience including cost and/or commercial management - Essential - Experience preparing cost estimates - Essential - Demonstrable Leadership Skills - Essential - An ability to work under pressure and prioritise task management - Essential - An ability to understand technical specifications and engineering information - Essential - Strong IT systems/Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel - Essential - Excellent communication skills - verbal and nonverbal - Essential - Analytical with strong attention to detail, the ability to understand complex information and excellent problem-solving and numerical skills - Essential - Understanding of Health, Safety, Quality and environmental standards with the ability to demonstrate how cost estimating supports these standards - Essential - Quantity Surveying, engineering or equivalent qualification - Essential If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you!
