Exciting Opportunity: Deputy Children's Home Manager – Mansfield Area
At Classroom Recruiters, we are thrilled to be working with a growing client in the Mansfield area. They’re starting a brand-new project and are seeking an ambitious Deputy Children's Home Manager who is ready for the next step in their career. This role offers the incredible opportunity to participate in a training programme designed to help you become a Residential Manager of your very own children’s home.
This is your chance to join a new 2-bed home project from the very beginning, shaping the home’s culture, care, and team, with the full support of a dedicated management structure.

* Is a Collaborative Manager: You’ll work closely with other managers in the local area to share ideas and raise outcomes for the children under your care.
Essential Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (minimum)
* 3 years of experience working with children in residential settings over the past 5 years
* Strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations (2015), care standards, and OFSTED requirements
* Learning Disability (LD) experience would be an advantage, though not essential
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and maintain OFSTED standards
* Provide high-quality support to achieve positive outcomes for the children
* Work alongside senior leaders to plan residential services, improvements, and strategic direction
* Manage the day-to-day operational needs of the home, ensuring all policies and health and safety guidelines are met
* Create and maintain Person-Centred Plans for all children, reviewing them regularly to ensure the best care
