Job Title: Estimator/Senior Estimator Location: Surrey office location plus flexible working / hybrid working Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 (Based on experience) Benefits: Private healthcare, life insurance, share save schemes, income protection insurance, pension, upskilling and development opportunities and cycle to work scheme Overview: 4Site Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator/Senior Estimator to join a dynamic and fast-paced Tier 1 fit-out contractor. The company specialises in high-quality fit-out projects ranging from £2 million to £30 million, you will play a critical role in estimating project costs and ensuring accurate and competitive bids. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a can-do attitude who is eager to grow and contribute to a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities: * Prepare detailed estimates for fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. * Collaborate closely with the bidding team to compile high-quality bid submissions. * Engage with clients and manage client relationships throughout the tender process. * Analyse tender documents, specifications and drawings to provide accurate pricing. * Identify and evaluate risk factors, ensuring all potential risks are priced accordingly. * Assist in value engineering efforts and explore cost-saving options without compromising quality. * Maintain strong communication with subcontractors and suppliers for the procurement of quotes and materials. * Ensure that all estimates are in line with company standards, policies, and procedures. * Participate in post-tender negotiations and secure successful bids. * Work closely with the project delivery teams to ensure cost control and project success. Skills & Experience Required: * Proven experience in estimating traditional fit-out projects, ideally within the £2m-£30m range. * Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methods, materials and market trends. * Experience working in a similar role within a 1 fit-out contractor environment. * Excellent communication skills and experience liaising with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment. * A proactive approach with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. * Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
