We are delighted to be working exclusively with a growing SME business in Bridlington who provides compliance and business services to the construction industry. Due to someone leaving to go on maternity leave, they are now looking for a People Manager for their Customer Service and Admin team. Training, coaching and developing a team of around 15 people, this is a hands on role where you can really make a difference to your team and get the most out of them. What the Customer Service and Admin Team Manager  job involves Delegating workload in a busy department Coordinating rota’s and shifts for all team members First point of contact and final decision maker for the team and their customers Identifying and coordinating training and development for each member of the team Creation of the annual training plan for the team to upskill and retrain where necessary Coaching and mentoring team members Attending senior management meetings to update the board on your team performance Managing and grievances and disciplinaries or other HR issues within the team Onboarding and training of new starters Managing absence and sickness within the team, conducting return to work interviews Managing holidays for the team, checking that there are enough people to cover any absences Skills required Previous experience of managing a team Experience of training, developing and coaching staff Highly organised and able to manage a busy and demanding workload Attention to detail and process driven Able to build relationships and get the best out of your team Experience of an admin based / customer service team Other information Full time Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.00 (2.5 hours back each week on a rota) Quarterly bonus Carparking available and easily accessible on public transport Cycle to work scheme Annual salary reviews 20 days holiday + Bank Holidays and an additional 2 days in lieu of Xmas working to be taken in January This vacancy is being advertised through KD Recruitment Limited who are operating as an Employment Agency.
