We’re searching for a Senior Finance Manager (team of 2) who can take ownership of the entire finance function, leading everything from financial operations to commercial finance. You’ll play a key role in driving strategic business decisions, developing your team, and continuously improving processes—all while working closely with the leadership team as we scale. About the Role In this role, you’ll oversee the full finance function, ensuring that day-to-day financial operations run smoothly, while also owning financial reporting, compliance, and analysis to help inform strategic decision-making. You’ll be supported by a finance analyst and will play a key role in their coaching and development, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively to meet the company’s growth goals. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Financial Operations: Oversee daily financial operations including customer and supplier onboarding, billing, payroll, bank reconciliation, and accounts payable/receivable Manage banking and cash flow forecasts to ensure financial stability Lead company secretarial activities, including filings and management of the share register Oversee group funding management, ensuring effective cash flow and liquidity Financial Reporting and Control: Deliver monthly management accounts with clear, accurate financial reporting Prepare VAT returns (partial exemption) and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements Support regulatory capital adequacy management Lead statutory audits, corporation tax preparation, and any other compliance reporting Continuously improve financial processes, ensuring a robust framework of internal controls Commercial Finance: Partner with business leaders to deliver financial insights and analysis to inform critical business decisions Develop and maintain financial models that support business planning and strategic initiatives Lead the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives Provide commercial analysis and MI to support business growth, cost management initiatives, and profitability Team Leadership and Development: Coach, mentor, and support the finance analyst, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Lead finance systems implementation to enhance team efficiency and operational effectiveness Champion the finance team’s voice, ensuring collaboration across departments to solve problems and drive company success Who We’re Looking For: You’re a proactive, hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
