Commercial Valuation Surveyor/Senior Surveyor

TML Recruitment have been retained by an industry-leading, UK wide property consultancy with over £70M turnover in their search for a Surveyor/Senior Surveyor level Commercial valuer. Working from their prestigious, London offices, this market leading team caries out a diverse range of valuation instructions throughout Central London working with some of the UKs most prestigious commercial clients. The team currently of 10 staff making it large enough for a solid team but small enough for the selected candidate to make impact which is what they want with a clear directive to get them to partnership. You will report into the Partner and head of department who is extremely well known in the market place who will offer you excellent guidance where you need it. A large bulk of this role includes Providing valuation advice to clients for loan security, accounts and other purposes including, tax, acquisitions, disposals and financial reporting. This would be on behalf of a really diverse client base, keeping you very busy and interested. Clients would include major lending organisations including UK clearing banks and alternative lenders, investors, developers, local authorities and landed estates. Being a tier 1 consultancy you will have the opportunity to work on some really exciting instructions. * Producing Red Book valuation reports to a very high standard * Reporting to clients and senior colleagues * Adherence to internal processes, lender requirements and RICS regulations * Building professional business through networking internally and externally WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR? * MRICS and RICS Registered Valuer * Experience in writing clear and concise reports and providing strategic property advice and due diligence * Capabilities in Microsoft applications as well as Argus enterprise and development packages.
