They are focused on building long-term relationships with their clients by providing exceptional service and adhering to the strictest regulatory requirements.The RoleThey are seeking an experienced General Counsel to join their tight-knit UK-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and advising the executive team on legal matters. You will play a crucial role in shaping the company's legal strategy and safeguarding its interests in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.You will work closely with the UK senior management team, Compliance team and various departments across the organisation, including HR, Security, Product, and Engineering. Your primary focus will be on managing corporate legal matters and implementing FCA-driven policies that align with the company's strategic objectives. You will also be instrumental in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements with technology partners and vendors, as well as advising on legal risks associated with commercial transactions.In addition to providing legal counsel on a wide range of issues, you will be expected to anticipate potential legal challenges and proactively address them to protect the company's interests.
