About the Role: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Deputy Nurse Manager to support our Nurse Manager in leading our nursing team and delivering high-quality care. You will play a key role in overseeing clinical practices, supporting staff development, and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Nurse Manager in the day-to-day management of the nursing home, including staff supervision, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure high standards of person-centered care are delivered in line with regulatory and clinical guidelines. Lead and mentor a team of nurses and care staff, promoting professional development and best practices. Conduct regular care audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards. Manage care plans, medication administration, and clinical documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Handle resident and family queries, complaints, and feedback, maintaining positive communication and relationships. Participate in recruitment, training, and performance reviews of nursing and care staff. Support the Nurse Manager in developing policies, procedures, and initiatives to enhance care delivery. Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse (RN) with an active NMC registration. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a nursing leadership or senior clinical role. Strong clinical skills with a commitment to high standards of patient care. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards, and best practices. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and handle challenging situations. Passion for delivering person-centered care and fostering a positive team culture.
