Senior Food Safety Manager Dungannon - £42-46K The Role: To assist the technical manager in ensuring that site technical requirements are met. Interacting with the technical and operations teams to drive standards and customer expectations forward. Duties: Design, implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of HACCP based Quality Management System Co Ordinate and Manage HACCP Team and Activities Support the NPD Function to aid successful new product / process development Monitoring of factory cleaning and housekeeping and hygiene standards Provide technical guidance, training and support to other departments, developing awareness and understanding of technical issues. Product / process / environmental improvements to meet Customer and legislative requirements and progress against internal KPIs. Management of Corrective actions To manage daily quality reports Ensure a structured approach to CI is in place across the Technical Department, Ensure an improvement action plan is in place across the Technical Department Develop a culture where employee engagement and communication are promoted and actively delivered. Essential Criteria: Experience as a QA Manager in the food industry Experience of managing and delivering KPI improvement Report writing and procedural writing skills. An advanced knowledge of Microsoft programmes in particular; Excel, Word and Outlook.
