Assistant Construction Manager

Assistant Construction Manager required in North London GVR Solutions are currently representing a reputable client, who are a well-established Main contractor based in London, who are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a challenging commercial refurbishment project in North London. Project: Commercial refurbishment Description: Listed building external shell with a full internal refurbishment of 12 commercial units including washroom fit outs. Currently 12 units has the potential to grow to 40 commercial units. Location: North London Salary: Up to £35K Assistant Site Manager duties & responsibilities: * Reporting to and assisting the Site Manager in daily duties * Managing sub-contractors * Ensuring deadlines and programmes of work are adhered to * Maintain quality and accuracy of all finishes * Ensure health and safety polices are followed on site * Building good working relationships with other staff and departments Assistant Site Manager requirements: * Previous experience working for a main contractor on refurbishment and fit out projects * Degree qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (MS Word, Excel) etc. * SMSTS or SSSTS desirable * First Aid certification is ideal * CSCS Card is essential If you are interested in the above Assistant Site Manager position, then please get in touch
