Supporting individuals within the community and engaging with their hobbies and interests & empowering individuals to develop skills and independence, promoting their overall growth.Attending various community groups and accompanying our service users to attend activities they are passionate about, from taking a trip to the cinema, enjoying a morning swim or attending local groups or community projects, accompany on holidays and trips away with the individuals we support.Assist with personal care, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.Celebrate achievements and milestones, both big and small, to create a rewarding and positive environment.About YouYou will have a genuine commitment to use your skills to support people to live their best lives. You will have flexibility to work on a rota.No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided to you. About Us - Elgin ServiceOur Greyfriars Close service provides support for adults with learning disabilities in Elgin.Each tenant at Greyfriars Close has their own flat with access to a communal area. We aim to support tenants to reach their goals and aspirations by providing person centred approaches to our work.We also have an Outreach Service providing support for adults with learning disabilities. Our Outreach Service presently provide support to people in different areas of Elgin who have their own tenancies. We aim to support them in all aspects of their day to day living and to promote their independence and wellbeing.The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.Where there is a requirement for sleepover shifts, you will receive, on top of your hourly rate, an additional £96.00 for every sleepover shift you work!Please note that IT skills are required for all our vacancies.Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.We value lived experience, please to read more about our views.Job Description Person Specification Benefits package Turning Point Scotland have Platinum accreditation in Investors in People.
