Job Title: Fabricator Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Dudley Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours, working 08:00-17:00 Monday-Thursday and 08:00-12:00 on friday. 30 days off a year (including bank holiday) Primary Industry: Engineering Salary: £14 - £15 per hour Job Duties: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components Using welding equipment to join metal parts Ensuring finished products meet quality standards Following health and safety guidelines at all times Required Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in engineering or metal fabrication Experience: Proven experience as a fabricator in an engineering environment Plating experience Knowledge and Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings Strong metalworking skills, including cutting and welding Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset Good understanding of health and safety regulations Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in metal fabrication or welding Working Conditions: This role involves working in a workshop environment with exposure to noise and machinery. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times
