Job role: Executive Assistant Working hours: 37hrs per week, Office hours Location: Office based role in Newcastle (Must be able to commute) Contract: Permanent contract Salary: Competitive salary & employee benefits package / Starting salary depending upon experience We are proud to be supporting our client, an established family-run business (over 50 years old) with its roots firmly in the Northeast. Our client is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Executive Leadership Team, based in their Newcastle office. We are looking for someone who works well under pressure and works on their own initiative, with a minimum of 5 years past experience as an EA supporting an executive management team. About you: * Minimum of 5 years experience as a Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant * Attention to detail skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks * Confident with IT systems such as Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive etc * Proficient MS Office knowledge * Ability to work independently without guidance * Experience in Office Facilities management * Excellent communication skills both verbal and written * Outstanding organisational skills * Time management skills * Discretion and confidentiality Key responsibilities include: * Extensive diary management for Board Level Directors * Management of Inbox’s * Responsibility for tracking the delivery of strategic plans for the board * Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner * Managing Director's calendars & arranging meetings * Providing administrative support for various corporate transactions and projects * Taking minutes & actions from meetings; responsible for chasing up actions also. * Travel and accommodation arrangements * Assist with the planning & execution of new starter inductions * Facilities management such as building repairs, office supplies * Meet & greet visitors to the office * Sending of post & packages (internally & externally) * Singing for packages * Sending new insurances and policies to customers upon request * Setting up of video calls / conference facilities * Management of car parking rota Employee Benefits include: 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays Option to purchase additional annual leave Cycle scheme Enhanced workplace pension Additional leave for milestone birthdays Discount voucher scheme Refer a friend scheme Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
