Are you an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant seeking a fresh, interesting opportunity in the forthcoming academic term? This role could be for you! LTF Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming Primary school in Kingston Upon Thames (KT10). The school seeks an experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant who can provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 5 student facing challenges in building relationships, along with supporting other children with SEND needs. Daily responsibilities: Providing 1:1 support to a Year 5 student with SEMH needs, particularly focused on building positive relationships. Working closely with children with SEND, ASD, and ADHD to support their individual learning and social development. Tracking and documenting student academic progress and social-emotional development to ensure tailored support. Offering general assistance in the classroom, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson delivery, and adapting materials to meet diverse learning needs. Designing and creating engaging, sensory-rich learning spaces that promote a calm and stimulating atmosphere for the student.The perfect candidate will have: Relevant level 3 Teaching Assistant position or Equivalent. Previous experience working in a primary school setting. Confident in building relationships with individual students.
