Stock Team Leader

Stock Team Leader Location Litchfield Shift: Monday – Friday (Apply online only), £13.38phr Key Responsibilities: To ensure a continuous supply of materials and stock so that production should not suffer at the time of customer's demand. To keep material cost under control as they contribute to reducing the cost of production and to eliminate duplication in ordering stocks. The main role of the Stock Team Leader is to organise and monitor inventory levels to maximise efficiency. • Coordinate daily activity with the Site Manager • Manage and direct work executing activities including but not limited to – Cycle Counts, investigations, Reports in-line with customer requirements • Communicate and react quickly and effectively regarding unexpected labour needs • Manage labour hours and electronic time keeping systems, procedures and processes updated • Interview and train prospective new team members; completes 1-2-1's and appraisals • Ensure all subordinate staff understand performance targets and KPI and clearly outlines what is expected • Deal with complaints quickly and address internal and external stakeholder needs promptly • Drive innovation and recommend process improvement • Review records to ensure accuracy and compliance (where applicable) • Comply with all company policies and procedures • Monitor and ensure KPI's are met in a timely and cost-effective manner Full Job spec available What We’re Looking For: Experience in the logistics industry • Stock Management • Experience of managing staff on a shift, managing performance and deadlines • Strong Organisation skills • Knowledge of SOX compliance desirable • Industry knowledge • Experience in producing daily/ weekly reports • Customer Facing Experience Apply now to join the team
