Lab Technician

NPD Technician Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 5pm, Fridays 8:30am – 4pm Competitive salary, annual bonus, a good company pension scheme, life assurance, 27 days + bank holidays, plus the option to buy additional days. About the role of NPD Technician: Oversee housekeeping and organisation of the NPD Laboratory, ensuring readiness for work at all times. Support with sample/benchmark shopping if required. Stock consumables, follow cleaning schedules, and comply with audit standards. Perform equipment calibrations, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintain paperwork. Manage ingredient stocks, packaging, equipment, and request samples as needed. Support the NPD team with sample preparation, production sample retrieval, and testing. Handle daily dispatches, raw material receipt, and assist with sensory testing. Manage production material assessments and act as a Health and Safety advocate.
