Responsibilities: As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll be responsible for: * Cost Estimation: Preparing accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects, ensuring all costs—including labour, materials, and overhead—are accounted for. * Bid Preparation: Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop competitive bids and proposals that meet client needs and project specifications. * Site Visits: Conducting thorough site assessments to gather essential information, including measurements and existing conditions, to facilitate precise estimation. * Vendor Coordination: Sourcing and evaluating materials and subcontractors, negotiating pricing, and ensuring quality standards are met for cost-effective project delivery. * Report Generation: Preparing and presenting detailed estimation reports and project scopes for review by senior management and clients, ensuring clarity and transparency. Requirements: * Experience: Experience as an Estimator in the construction industry. * Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyse project specifications, blueprints, and scope documents to create accurate cost estimates. * Attention to Detail: Precision in preparing estimates and evaluating project costs, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. * Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
