Overview:

A leading e-commerce company based in London is seeking a highly skilled Lead Product Analyst to join our fast-paced, data-driven environment. This role will be instrumental in driving product insights, shaping data-driven strategies, and influencing business decisions at both tactical and strategic levels. The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts and work closely with product managers, engineers, and senior leadership to optimize customer experience, product performance, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Product Analytics Function: Own the product analytics roadmap, managing priorities, resources, and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product managers, marketing, engineering, and leadership teams to provide actionable insights that drive decision-making and product development.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Utilize customer behavior data, funnel analysis, and business KPIs to inform product strategy, identify growth opportunities, and enhance customer engagement.
  • Performance Analysis: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key metrics to monitor product performance and present insights to stakeholders.
  • A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design and analyze A/B tests to evaluate product changes, continuously improving and optimizing features.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Mentor and lead a team of product analysts, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and personal growth.
  • Advanced Analytics: Leverage data modeling, predictive analytics, and statistical methods to drive complex analyses and forecasts.
  • Tools & Technology: Work with modern data tools, SQL, Python/R, and visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker) to analyze data and present findings in an impactful manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product analytics, preferably in a high-growth e-commerce environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data querying, and manipulating large data sets.
  • Expertise in A/B testing and experimentation methodologies.
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate data insights into business actions.
  • Experience managing a team of analysts, with strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
