Employment Lawyer - 12-month FTC

Employment Associate (5+ PQE) – 12 Month FTC London (City) Our client, an elite US City law firm, is seeking an experienced Employment Lawyer to join their highly ranked Employment team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. About our client: Global law firm with offices in key commercial centres across the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East Highly regarded in employment law, recognised by Chambers UK and The Legal 500 UK Extensive experience advising companies of all sizes on complex employment law matters, workforce restructurings, cross-border transactions, and litigation Representing high-profile clients, including Fortune 100 companies and leading asset management firms Key responsibilities include: Managing employment tribunal claims and investigations with minimal supervision Providing employment law support for corporate transactions, including due diligence Drafting and preparing employment contracts, remuneration arrangements, and post-termination restrictions Advising on TUPE regulations and collective redundancies, managing related processes Reviewing and supervising the review of employee handbooks and policies Advising on SMCR-related issues and remuneration codes Drafting LLP-related documents The ideal candidate will have: Ideally 5+ years PQE in employment law and must have experience in a top-tier law firm Strong academic background and excellent communication skills The ability to manage projects with limited supervision You must be qualified to practise in England and Wales A thorough understanding of UK employment law, including tribunal claims, TUPE, and corporate support This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly reputable firm that offers a salary above market rate and an excellent benefits package.
