Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - £50k-£65k – Buckinghamshire – Electric MotorsPlatform Recruitment has partnered with a leading company specialising in the design, manufacture, and distribution of electro-mechanical instruments. As part of their expansion plan, they’re seeking an experienced Senior Engineer with expertise in electric motor design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all aspects of product development, from concept generation and prototyping to testing, analysis, and manufacturing.Main Duties:+ Produce conceptual designs+ Act as the subject matter expert in electric motor design+ 3D CAD design+ Prototype & testing designs+ Design validation+ Precision mechanism design+ Design from concept through to product launchSkills & Experience:+ Degree in Engineering+ Electric motor design experience+ Strong 3D CAD skills+ Creativity and blue sky thinking+ Experience in designing precision mechanisms+ Knowledge of different manufacturing processes+ Experience in designing electro-mechanical products is advantageousThe salary will be between £50,000-£65,000 depending on experience.
