Site Engineer

Site Engineer We are seeking capable and independent Site Engineers with experience in UK civil projects to join a leading Civil Engineering Principal Contractor. We value your expertise in delivering earthworks, drainage, concrete piling, and similar tasks for top-tier UK Contractors. Responsibilities: Manage materials, equipment, and labor within budget and resources, ensuring safety and efficiency. Communicate systems, design information, procedures, and quality standards effectively. Support project delivery teams by verifying work, providing technical assistance, and setting out. Lead or assist in project assurance through audits and regular meetings with project teams. Identify best practices, areas for improvement, and concerns related to safety, finance, or quality. Produce and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Conduct short-term planning. Requirements: Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering. Proficiency in surveying and setting out. Proven track record of successfully managing your section of works, including subcontractors. Strong knowledge of civil engineering and construction. Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications. Desirable Traits: Strong work ethic. Clear and effective communication skills. Team-oriented mindset. Ability to take ownership and work independently.
