As part of their commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated and technically skilled 1st Line IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with strong technical skills and a passion for IT support to grow with our company.Job Overview:As a Graduate IT Support Technician, you will serve as the initial point of contact for our customers, offering technical support and resolving IT-related issues. This position is ideal for graduates with a solid foundation in SQL, a keen interest in IT support, and excellent communication skills. You will collaborate closely with our IT Support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical challenges, and contributing to the success of our customer support operations.Key Responsibilities:Technical Support: Provide 1st line support for all incoming IT queries and issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.Ticket Management: Triage, manage, and resolve support tickets using our internal ticketing system.Database Support: Utilize SQL to manage, query, and troubleshoot database-related issues.Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their technical issues and guide them through solutions.Problem Diagnosis: Identify, diagnose, and escalate complex technical issues to 2nd and 3rd line support as necessary.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support requests, resolutions, and technical documentation.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in IT support to continually improve your skills.Key Skills & Experience:Educational Background: Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.SQL Knowledge: Basic proficiency in SQL for database management and troubleshooting, with a willingness to learn and develop further skillsTicketing Systems: Familiarity with support ticketing systems is a plus, but training will be provided.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a passion for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.Customer-focused: Enthusiastic about delivering high-quality support and ensuring customer satisfaction.
