Job Opportunity: Fundraising Strategy Consultant Location: Hybris working - 2 days a week onsite in London 3 days WFH Fixed Term Contract for 12 months (Maternity Cover) Salary: £40,000 - £43,000 We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Fundraising Strategy Consultant for our client to lead high-value consultancy projects for charity and corporate clients, while supporting senior advisors in developing business opportunities across corporate, public, and private sectors. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in shaping our fundraising advisory services and overall strategy for charity clients, contributing to broader impact initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Lead strategic fundraising consultancy projects for charity clients, and assist senior advisors in business development across corporate, private, and public sector clients. Oversee and deliver high-quality client assignments, ensuring effective project management and a strong focus on client satisfaction. Support the development and expansion of the fundraising advisory service, helping to shape business strategy and build a future pipeline of opportunities. Guide fundraising strategy development, advising charity clients on major donor fundraising, individual giving, and other key areas of income generation. Create compelling proposals in response to business leads, ensuring client needs are met and the value of our services is communicated effectively. Grow and maintain client relationships, focusing on long-term partnerships and securing multi-service contracts that integrate fundraising consultancy, grantmaking, and social investment. Collaborate across teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients, identifying synergies and ensuring alignment with broader impact strategies. Work with colleagues nationally and internationally to share best practices and maximize opportunities across the network. Position the organization externally as a thought leader in the charity and fundraising sector, building recognition as a trusted partner and maximizing business opportunities.Key Skills and Competencies: Expertise in charity fundraising consultancy, particularly in major donor and individual fundraising strategies. Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet client expectations. A strategic thinker, able to contribute to the growth and direction of the advisory business and identify new opportunities. Strong client relationship management, with experience in expanding and retaining long-term client engagements. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate fundraising strategies clearly and effectively.
