Grounds Maintenance

Are you seeking a new opportunity in gardening or grounds maintenance? I am assisting an expanding and highly regarded Gardening & Grounds Maintenance business based near Biggin Hill in their search for an experienced Gardener who possesses a full UK driving licence. This opportunity is being offered on full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) – and you will be covering Bromley and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role, undertaking all aspects of gardening and ground maintenance duties whilst delivering flawless customer service. Gardener Responsibilities: * Maintaining the appearance of the grounds, including mowing, weeding, pruning, and watering * Planting new trees, shrubs, flowers, and maintaining existing landscape features * Applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed, following safety protocols * Clearing and disposing of plant waste * Operating and maintaining gardening equipment and tools * Keeping pathways and outdoor areas clear of debris What do you need? * Valid driver's licence (Cat B) with a clean driving record * Proven experience as a Gardener, or as a Grounds Maintenance person gained in a residential, public space, or a commercial setting * Previous experience in gardening or grounds maintenance essential * Ability to operate gardening equipment safely * A good geographical knowledge of the Bromley, Bexley and Croydon boroughs * Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions * PA1 / PA6 tickets (ideally) What’s on offer? * Competitive day rate commensurate with experience * Use of a company van * Opportunities for professional development and advancement * Positive and collaborative work environment How to Apply: If you are a motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors and has a passion for gardening, we encourage you to apply!
