My client operates nearly 30 leisure centres and lidos all over the country, providing exciting products and programmes for their customers. They require an experienced payroll professional looking to further their career and make a significant impact on the community’s health and wellbeing.The main responsibilities of the Payroll & Benefits Business Partner are:Lead the payroll team as well as oversee the recruitment, training and performance management of the wider teamHandle all payroll activities including running monthly payroll for the business and managing payroll administration processesWork with the People Team on staff onboarding processes, contractual changes and staff payment structuresReview and create payroll policies and procedures to ensure optimal efficiencyManage and educate staff on employee benefits including pension schemeCreate and contribute to management training programmesThe candidate:Professional qualification such as CIPP is essentialExperience in leading high volume monthly payroll and administering benefitsExperience with time and attendance systems Excellent numerical, analytical and organisational skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)Attention to detail, high standards of accuracy and ability to multi-task while working with large volumes of workThis is a fantastic opportunity in the health and fitness industry which requires the successful individual to be in the office 2-3 days per week (40 her per week role).
