Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting a positive customer experience? Our client is expanding their Housing Services team and looking to add a Housing Administrator to be at the heart of delivering excellent support to our community.
As a Housing Administrator, you will be a vital part of the front-line team, managing customer inquiries, supporting tenancy processes, and handling essential administrative tasks to ensure seamless operations within Housing Services.
The Role
Act as the first point of contact for residents, providing a welcoming and professional reception, handling inquiries both in person and over the phone, and resolving issues within agreed timeframes.
Assist with tenancy management by supporting the voids and lettings process, including voiding properties and garages, setting up new property accounts, and managing 'House Exchange' applications.
Help tenants report repairs and pest control needs to contractors and ensure the reception area remains safe and well-maintained.
Keep accurate and up-to-date records in Northgate, manage key and fob requests, process recharges, and maintain inventory for keys and fobs.
Work closely with other Housing Service teams, update knowledge of policies and procedures, and liaise with external agencies to provide timely solutions for residents.
Support tenants with the Orchard Heating system by managing usage records, sending statements, and coordinating with income recovery teams when needed.
The Ideal Candidate:
A friendly and clear communicator, able to assist residents efficiently and with empathy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and keep records updated in a timely manner.
A proactive approach to resolving customer inquiries and supporting smooth office operations.
Experience in a similar role
