Support Worker with driving licence

R&V Ltd is looking for individuals who have an upbeat personality who are ready to work as care assistants for our client. We are looking for passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team. It is essential that candidates are patient, understanding and respectful towards the residents individual abilities and VALID UK DRIVING LICENCE.

• This is a Residential/Domiciliary Care Service for complex & challenging behaviours (Epilepsy/Autism)
• Expected weekly hours Full time & part time available Initially training for first 2-3 weeks, inductions/introductions etc

Your role will include :

• Assisting residents with personal care and dressing
• Assisting residents with incontinence needs
• Assisting residents with repositioning - must be able to use required equipment - hoist, stand aid, slide sheet etc.
• Assisting with food and fluids
• Helping with laundry, cleaning, preparing meals
• Record all relevant documents accurately - must have good verbal and written skills

Requirements :

• DBS
• National insurance number
• Right to work in UK
• Previous experience is essential
• Health and social care relevant trainings
• Manual Handling Practical trainins
• Driving Licence

Person Requirements

• 2 years' experience working within a complex care setting
• NVQ/QCF level 2 or a desire to work towards the qualification while working
• Must have an understanding of positive behaviour plans
• Must have a positive attitude towards working
• Driving licence would be ideal
