Finance Administrator

Ashton Recruitment require a Finance Administrator for our client based in the Duncrue area of Belfast. Position: Finance Administrator Location: Mallusk Duration: Permanent Rate of Pay: £27,000-£28,000 per annum Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45pm, Friday 8am - 2pm Duties include (but not limited to): For the collection of debts as per terms of trading and to meet company debtor days targets. To maintain sales ledger by allocating all remittances, credit notes, journals ensuring ledgers are kept in an orderly fashion. Advise and resolve account queries electronically Create and issue invoices promptly, on a daily basis. For managing cash sales, preparing statements and preparing lodgements for banking. For achieving an excellent record in terms of attendance and timeliness as per details stated in the terms and conditions of employment. For working to company processes and procedures that are in keeping with the company quality system, and for making suggestions to improve processes that contribute to overall company performance. Perform additional accounting and administrative duties, data input, filing, invoicing and general office duties. Control petty cash and be responsible for adequate stationary supplies. Complete month end closures in a timely manner. Administrate & set up new customer credit account applications. Management reporting Essential Criteria: Maths, English and ICT - GCSE Grade C or above Minimum intermediate level MS Excel - export CSV & report formatting They have attained a minimum of 5 years' experience Essential Criteria Experience of working within a manufacturing environment.
