Role Overview: Our client, a leading construction main contractor, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive their growth across the commercial construction sector. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and secure contracts to support the company’s expansion. Key Responsibilities: * Business Development: Identify and pursue new project opportunities, build client relationships, and secure contracts. * Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads through networking, industry events, and market research. * Tender Management: Oversee the preparation of tender proposals to meet client and market needs. * Negotiations: Lead negotiations to close deals that align with company goals. * Market Analysis: Conduct research to stay ahead of market trends and competitor activity. * Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project handovers. Key Requirements: * Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development within the construction industry. It is beneficial to have experience in the commercial refurbishment sector. * Knowledge: Strong understanding of the construction sector, tender processes, and contract negotiations. * Skills: Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation abilities. * Results-Driven: Proven track record of generating leads and securing contracts.
