EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled Offline / CAD CAM Programmer to join a precision engineering company located in Nottingham, working on a permanent basis. Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks may be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates. Key Benefits on offer: * Competitive pay: Circa £38,000 - £40,000 per annum * Shifts: Days with an early finish on Fridays * 25+8 days Holiday * …And much more EMBS Engineering is currently representing an SME that specialises in the manufacture of small to medium-sized precision components, supplying highly regulated industry sectors such as Aerospace, Nuclear, Automotive, Oil & Gas, etc. This position presents a genuine prospect for an aspiring engineer to join a reputable business that is looking to grow and excel in their chosen field, therefore, long term stability and progressional opportunities will be available. Your responsibilities include: * Experienced programming offline using OneCNC and/or Siemens NX * Working from Engineering drawings / 3D models * Programming multi-axis CNC Milling, Laser, and Water Jet machines * Identifying continuous improvement opportunities to increase production, reduce scrap, reduce machine downtime etc. Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate: * Minimum of 3 years programming CNC machines using offline controls * OneCNC controls would be essential with Siemens NX being desirable * Understanding of Fanuc and HAAS CNC controls * Knowledge of implementing tool offset management * Ability to work from engineering drawings and 3D models * Previous experience in producing programs for complex components, ideally within aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, oil & gas, or medical sectors If you are interested in the opportunity above and believe you meet the illustrated criteria, apply today to join our clients’ growing Machining department located in Nottingham.
