Support Workers and Team Leaders (Royston)

Support Workers and Team Leaders required to work for my client based in the Royston area. You will be providing support to Children and Young Adults aged 6-19 years of age.

(Several positions available which include Child and Young Adult or just Young Adult)

Client Details

One of the largest providers of Education, Care and Support for Children and Young Adults with Specialist Educational Needs and Learning Disabilities in the UK. Support is provided via a network of Schools, Colleges and Residential Childrens Homes.

Description

* Provide exceptionally high levels of care for children with complex and medical needs

* Depending on the position this may include assistance with education, washing, dressing, personal care, social activities and socialising

* Assisting with therapy sessions

* Promoting independence and positivity

Profile

* Ideally previous experience working as a Support Worker or Health Care Assistant but for some roles no experience is necessary

* Caring and patient nature

* Positive personality

* Flexible - some of these positions require shifts

* Willingness to learn

Job Offer

* Salaries up to £26.5k for Support Workers and up to £32pa for Team Leaders

* (Team Leaders require Level 3 qualification)

* Full Induction and Training.

* Funding for Level 3 Qualification

* 33 Days Annual Leave
