Catering Assistant

Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment are looking to speak with School Catering Assistants and Kitchen Porters for an independent boarding school near Harrogate. Successful candidates must have enhanced DBS. The perfect candidate will be friendly & approachable and will have previous catering or hospitality experience, you will be working as an agency worker under via Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment with potentially on-going and temp-to-perm contracts. Role and responsibilities to include: Assist in food preparation , including chopping vegetables , preparing sauces and ingredients. Assist in cooking and baking tasks , measuring cooking times. Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment. Assist in serving meals to cust omers or staff members. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment. Candidates must/should have: At least 1 years experience working in a kitchen environment Enhanced DBS Must have a valid driving license Good communication skills and ability to work within a team Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks Salary and Benefits: Holiday pay as a PAYE worker £11.44 an hour minimum Weekly pay each Friday via timesheet Uniform provided Flexible working opportunities We are eager to connect with qualified and enthusiastic candidates who match the requirements of this role, potentially immediate starts available.
