Mechanical Engineer

Our partner who is a prestigious manufacturing company is actively seeking a highly skilled and accomplished Mechanical Engineer to play a crucial role in engineering and design capability. This renowned organisation is a leader in the industry, known for its cutting-edge technology and unwavering commitment to delivering top-quality products.

The Mechanical Engineer will be involved with 3D manufacturing advancements, employing precise calculations and CAD expertise, all while fostering teamwork and hands-on process development.

The responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer will include:

  • Contribute to the advancement of cutting-edge 3D manufacturing technology by actively participating in the development and enhancement of industrial processes.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team comprising mechanical, electrical and software engineers to design and refine electromechanical process machinery and systems.
  • Utilise engineering expertise to support the evolution of complex manufacturing processes, engaging in tasks such as engineering calculations, 3D CAD modeling and process refinement.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills by articulating clear design proposals and justifying technical and commercial decisions with precision and coherence.
  • Play a pivotal role in the success of the organization by providing valuable engineering and design contributions to the industrialization department.

Requirements:

  • Hold an engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet research.
  • Strong 3D CAD skills, preferably with SolidWorks, and experience in PDM document control.
  • Capable of producing high-quality engineering calculations and documentation for designs or proposals.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team while also working independently with managerial support.
  • Take a practical approach to process development.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of industrial experience required.

  • A salary of 35,000- 40,000 depending on experience.
