Teaching Assistant

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a large primary school in Sudbury, Brent. About the role Provide focused 1:1 support to the child with ASD (reception), adapting teaching methods to meet their individual needs. Assist in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring the child is actively engaged and included in classroom activities. Create a positive and structured learning environment that promotes the child’s confidence and independence. Collaborate with the teacher to implement strategies from the child’s Individual Education Plan (IEP). Support the child during playtime and lunchtime to encourage social interactions and positive relationships with peers. Requirements To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will: Previous experience working with ASD is desirable Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
