About the role: We are excited to announce an opening for a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. This position has become available due to the expansion of our support staff to better cater to our growing student body. You will be an integral part of our Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teams, working closely with teachers to enhance the learning experience for our students. The role offers a salary of £100 - £120 per day. As an HLTA, you will be responsible for delivering tailored learning activities to small groups of students, supporting class teachers in lesson planning and delivery, leading interventions and booster sessions to help students achieve their full potential, and assisting with the planning and delivery of after-school activities. Additionally, you will provide pastoral care and support students' social and emotional development. You will be working with classes of up to 30 students, playing a crucial role in shaping their educational journey. Application Requirements:• HLTA qualification or equivalent.• Experience working with primary-aged children.• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities:• Supporting class teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.• Leading small group sessions and interventions.• Assisting with the preparation of classroom resources.• Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
