About the Quality Assistant job
The purpose of your role will be to oversee processes and quality of production from start to finish whilst supporting the teams and always complying with legislative guidelines.
Key tasks
- Create, review, amend, and verify SOPs, manage training and administration, and support SOP training in designated areas.
- Oversee document control, including creating and reviewing forms, notices, and indexes. Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis, factory issues, and team briefs.
- Conduct internal, supplier, and third-party audits, manage factory audits (GMP, CCP, hygiene), perform traceability exercises, and support mock recalls and SAQs.
- Ensure product quality, labelling, coding, and CCP compliance. Develop goods-in checking policies, maintain records, and react to quality issues within the factory.
About You
- Experience within a quality role in food manufacturing.
- Knowledge of H&S and food hygiene regulations.
