We are currently seeking an experienced paralegal based in London for a hybrid role that blends in-office and remote work. This is your opportunity to grow professionally in a role with potential for advancement, reporting directly to the General Counsel of CEF.Your Objectives:Dive into drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, from supplier agreements to service contracts.Ensure all contracts comply with UK laws, regulations, and our internal policies.Provide invaluable support and legal advice on contract-related matters, including interpretation, enforcement, and risk management.Assist with in-house employment matters, from drafting contracts to managing employee records and ensuring compliance with UK employment laws.Handle commercial property documents such as licenses, wayleaves, and CPSEs, and support our property portfolio.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure our contract terms align with business needs and objectives.Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, approving, executing, and archiving.Contribute to the development of standard contract templates and processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.Stay ahead of legal developments in employment, commercial property, and contracts, and provide training on best practices and compliance.Key Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience working as a paralegal, including some experience workig in an in-house environment.Knowledge and experience in employment, commercial property, or commercial contract law, with a knack for handling complex matters.Expertise in drafting, negotiating, and analyzing contracts with precision and effectiveness.Capable of managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication skills to articulate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.A keen eye for detail, problem-solving prowess, and a proactive, self-driven approach.A collaborative spirit to work seamlessly with various departments and stakeholders on a global scale.Package:Competitive basic salaryAnnual IT Bonus schemeMySavings - Employee Discount PlatformPension: 3% ee’e / 3% e’er (Total 6%)Champion Health – a comprehensive physical, mental & financial wellbeing platform, offering bespoke content on all aspects of wellbeing & life including recipes, workouts, blogs and loads of other content for youFree use of the state-of-the-art private gym at our award winning IT HeadquartersLocation:This role will be hybrid working environment (2 days in office / 3 days remote)Travel:There may be travel opportunities throughout the year as this position will work closely with the US-based legal department that serves CEF/CES as a global organisation.
