We have a global reach, with offices in Miami, Boston, Philidelphia, New York, San Diego, London and Switzerland.The role of the Legal & Compliance Advisor is to provide first class customer service to our contract and temporary workers. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for reviewing T&Cs, carrying out compliance checks, produce contracts, issue terminations, and also keep in regular contact with our workers throughout their assignments with us.Responsibilities:Support consultants in placing contractors internationally, advise whether a certain engagement model is possible in the country in question.Review and amend client terms to mitigate risk and present solutions, whilst providing accurate information to employees and contractorsSupport legal and compliance manager with dispute resolution between clients and candidatesCollating, onboarding and monitoring contractors onboarding documents on all systems and portalsAdvise on with IR35 determinations and answer questions from contractors and internally onIR35.Chasing any missing compliance information from contractorsFirstline support for all contractors, worker queries and timesheet queriesLiaise closely with the payments and finance team to ensure all contractor and client queries are managedAssist with on-boarding clients, including completing vendor and supplier formsFirstline support for all contractors, worker queries and timesheet queriesIdentify and maintain relationships with all payroll providersProducing of contracts for clients and contractors; involves issuing, re-issuing and renewing contractsSending Terminations and Offboarding contractorsLiaising with consultants and reporting on worker compliance/ assignment end dates and any other compliance stepsMonitor and prioritise tasks within the compliance inboxAssist with on-boarding clients, including completing vendor and supplier formsManage e-signature process and filing of contracts.Assist with any additional administrative tasks or projects as needed.Requirements and skillsProven experience in recruitment compliance (UK/EU) preferredPrior knowledge of T&Cs reviewExcellent organisational and time-management skillsOutstanding interpersonal skills with experience of both internal and external stakeholder managementKnowledge of industry’s legal rules and guidelinesProfessional German language preferred but not essentialEmployment law/ legal background preferredBioTalent Benefits- HIGH ACHIEVERS TRIPS The opportunity to earn a place on summer and winter incentive trip, open to everyone.QUARTERLY SUPPER CLUBS Earn a place on our quarterly supper clubs and enjoy an allexpenses paid fine dining experience.ANNUAL SUMMER AND WINTER CELEBRATIONS Celebrate in style with us at our End of Year Party and summer conference.UNLIMITED HOLIDAYS For anyone Senior Consultant level and above so long as they’re agreed with your manager. 25 days annual leave for associate consultants and consultants, increasing every year of service to 30 days.DON’T WORK ON YOUR BIRTHDAY Enjoy your birthday with an extra day off (on top of any allowance).SABBATICALS An opportunity to take one or three months off when you reach 5 and 10 years’ service.HYBRID WORKING WEEK - Including two days working from home and three in the office as well as a lunchtime finish on a Friday if you hit your minimum performance standards.FLEXIBLE HOURS Work your contracted weekly hours around your core hours of 10am - 4.00pm.
